Please do not go off the rails as this is my personal musings concerning the subject, and if you want to know more, and then please feel free to read more about it.
The wonder of it all is that Satan wasted no time in his quest to destroy the ministry and Body of Christ through his agent on earth, the Roman Catholic Church (RCC). The first thing they did was change the derogative word christian to a name and emblem of honour, then they took the Sabbath day that was hallowed by God and changed it to the first day of the week. Now this was not enough so they called this day not the first day of the week but Sunday after sun worship.
Now the RCC was just getting started because it had another problem and that is the Bible, the true Bible. To the utmost horror of the pope this bastion of God’s truth was available and not just available but also being preached in the heart of the Roman Empire, in Italy by the Vallenses and Albigenses. These folks were preaching from a Bible that came from the 5210 Manuscripts from the Antioch line of Manuscripts, and as if this was not a big enough thorn in the flesh of the RCC these people recognized the pope as an antichrist. They would refer to all the heretical, un-Biblical, false doctrines that came out of the RCC and preached against the church, all the while living a life of selflessness and Godliness holding on to the truth of God.
Now there are those who believe that these groups never referred to themselves as christian and neither did they call themselves protestants but they did call themselves followers of Christ. So Satan stirred up his agent and set it to work and here we are in what is called the dark ages or the persecution. They fed believers to wild animals all the while as the crowds were cheering and jeering and having a good old time, and this in the name of God?
They beheaded, crucified, raped, tortured, starved, clubbed to death, burned and much more in the holy name of the merciful true and living God that gave us live and that gave us His Son in sacrifice so we may live, the same God that tells you to love your enemy. The Vallenses lived a life filled with Godly joy, they lived for God and God only and this meant that they knew that the body of Christ was invisible as it is Spiritual and on the other hand the RCC believed it is visible and it is the RCC while the pope is God’s representative on earth, wow, talk about heresy!
When they could not eradicate these Godly people the next attack came from Alexandria and its 45 corrupt manuscripts, and you know where this went coming from this Hellenistic powerhouse of corruption, Alexandria. So to work went the wizards of Alexandria doing their black magic and in March of 2015 pope Francis kisses the Waldensian Bible and asks for forgiveness. And the former believers with their altered Bible did not accept the popes apology, and correct but then they call the pope their brother in Christ Jesus, RCC says, mission completed!
Even the history has changed the name of the group, and that is that Peter Waldo, that was a Catholic and a rich merchant joined the group and is now said to be their founder and from there the name Waldenses, with a new bible and churches with clock towers and best of all a brother in Christ Jesus that is called the pope, and according to him the representative of God on earth, and the Waldenses now believe him for they accept him as a brother in Christ.
The Bible is always right, Satan is a raging lion and will devour you, so when you think you are strong in your faith, and you love God like no other, or that you cannot fall for you are one of the chosen, then spare the fallen brothers of the Vallenses and Albigenses a thought, and while you at it say a prayer for the groups like the Baptists that try to ride on the wave of martyred Vallenses and Albigenses throughout history. We with our woolen comfort, our riches and higher than mighty attitudes are surely to hard of heart and our conscience so seared that we are not even worthy to hold our Bibles, let alone preach, we of no faith and lukewarm souls that pretend to be the Body of Christ, we will be spat out if we do not follow the example that Jesus set for us and say amen to the burning desire for God that is the Vallenses and Albigenses brothers of History, barring their own lukewarm descendants today.
